Online HTML editor - WYSIWYG style!

CKEditor - Basically is an WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor. The editor is not like any other editor because it is not a desktop application, but a component to be used inside web pages. But not only that, you can also see the source code and edit them instantly. When you go to their website, there is a demo of the editor. The demo is fully functional.

All of the standard function of a html editor is available. The interface looks much like MS Word. So you don't have to spend a lot of time figuring how to use the editor. Another addition to this editor is the multi-language interface where there is a lot of language to choose from. According to their website, a lot of big companies are using this editor too. CKEditor is compatible with all the major web browsers, Internet Explorer 6+, Google Chrome, Firefox 2+, Safari 3+, Opera 9.5+ and you can use it whether your system uses Windows, Linux or Mac.

Block websites from your PC

If you're an administrator or parents who wants to stop users from accessing certain websites, here is way to block unwanted websites from the PC itself. Blocking access from the PC will help to ease the local traffic.

The trick is by simply editing the hosts file. To edit this file:
  1. Go to your Run and type "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc" minus the quotes of course.
  2. Double-click the "hosts" file.
  3. When prompted to open, choose Notepad and open the file.
  4. Inside you will see "127.0.0.1       localhost".
  5. Add the websites that you wish to block below the "127.0.0.1       localhost". In this example I use facebook:
                  127.0.0.1 facebook.com
                  127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com
  1.  Don't forget that websites to blocked must have the url with "www" and with out "www" in the list.
  2.  Save the file.
Here is the screenshot of the example.

When the user try to access the block websites, the site will not load on the web browser.

Each network adapter will be displaying data such as:

    * Total data uploaded
    * IP address
    * Adapter speed
    * MTU size
    * Adapter type
    * MAC address
    * Status
    * Admin status
    * In unicast packets
    * Out unicast packets
    * In non unicast packets

If you're a Mozilla Firefox user, TryAgain add-ons is gonna keep trying to load a webpage when the server is not found. Currently, TryAgain works with Firefox version 3.0 - 3.5.*

This is very convenient so that you don't have to manually click refresh or click the try again button. You can set the amount of timeout and maximum tries. I personally like this setting :
