How to open new tabs in far right (Firefox 3.6)

In Firefox 3.6, when you want to open a link in a new tab, it will now open the link next to the tab you are currently in. This feature was not available in previous Firefox version and can be disable by following these simple steps:

1. In the address bar, type about:config and click I'll be careful, I promise!.

2. In the Filter box type browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent

3. Double click on the browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent filter result to change its Value to false. And you're done!

Make a table and fill in the details like a normal table. Don't forget to add the last row for the sum result.
Click on the last row for the sum result to be displayed.

At the top menu, click on Layout and click Formula.

The Formula window will pop out and click ok. The sum result will be displayed at the table.

Remember to repeat the above steps for every changes in the table figure because this function is not auto sum like in excel.

Remove Old Drivers from Windows

This guide is for Windows XP and Vista only. By removing unwanted old drivers, your windows might be using less system resources.

1. Click Start > Run and type "command" without the quote:

SET DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES=1

3. Then type devmgmt.msc to bring out the device manager.

4. Click View > Show hidden devices.

5. Expand on the devices to see the which devices that are active and which are not. The inactive devices appear grayed out.

6. From the list, right click on the inactive device you wish to remove and select Uninstall to remove the driver and you are done!

Actually there's more to it. CoLT is a multi function copy paste add on for Firefox that will do :

Copy text of the hyperlink.
Copy text and hyperlink at the same time.
Copy page title and its url at the same time.
Customize your own copy paste options.

No need to highlight the hyperlink's text and copy. Just right click on the hyperlink and choose any of the copy format. To copy the page title, just right click on the page and choose "Copy Page Title and Location As". You can also customize your copy format at the add on options. "Microsoft Office" inside Gmail

Did you know that inside Gmail there is a free basic web-based word procesor, presentation, spreadsheet, form and drawing tool? Well I just did recently. Much of these which is called Google Docs is similar to Microsoft Office.

Currently, Google Docs works fine with Internet Explorer 7+, Mozilla Firefox 2+, Google Chrome 1+ and Safari 3+.

You can either go to their page to access or directly from your Gmail by clicking on 'Documents' on the top left. After beind directed to new window, click 'Create New' to create your document or click 'Upload...' to use your existing document.

You can also share your documents by making it public to the web (No need sign in), anyone with the given access link (No need sign in) or by giving people explicitly granted permission (Must sign in).

Some words of advice, this just a basic application and maybe not all of the function in Microsoft Office works here. But I'm sure they are still working on improving it.

Before you started you might have to turn off Flash plugin as Flash are not supported in iPad. This is just make it more realistic. Turn off autoplay, stop viruses - very easy!

Autoplay function are for CD and USB drive when you inserted it in the drive. If you have not turn off the autoplay function, do it now. A lot of viruses / threats launches its attack from the autoplay function. Here is a way to turn off autoplay :

Clik Start and go to Run...
At the Run prompt, type gpedit.msc and click OK.
Go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System
Locate the "Turn off Autoplay" at the right pane
Double click it and Select Enabled, and choose from the drop down box to "All drives"
Click OK button and Close Group Policy Editor

TuxGuitar - Basically its an open source guitar tablature editor written in Java. You can open guitar pro files with it, an alternative to guitar pro. Import midi files and see the tracks and notation. Export files to midi or pdf files. Very easy to use. It really helps if you have knowledge in music theory. Can change the show fretboard to show the piano or just turn it off. There is a built in metronome, guitar tuner, scale and chord list. A wide range of musical instrument (midi instrument) are available including percussions. Various effects such as vibrato, tremolo and others are included.

TuxGuitar is lightweight, does not use a lot of memory/cpu. Either way, you can compose using the notation or tab. Three versions are available, Linux, Windows and MacOS. And the best thing is, it is free!

Minimize your browser instantly

By pressing two mouse buttons together you can minimize your current Firefox and not only that, you can set it to open a new tab and load URL of the current browser so that the title bar will not be displaying inaproriate title at the taskbar during minimize.

Block websites from your PC

If you're an administrator or parents who wants to stop users from accessing certain websites, here is way to block unwanted websites from the PC itself. Blocking access from the PC will help to ease the local traffic.

The trick is by simply editing the hosts file. To edit this file:

Go to your Run and type "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc" minus the quotes of course.
Double-click the "hosts" file.
When prompted to open, choose Notepad and open the file.
Inside you will see "127.0.0.1 localhost".
Add the websites that you wish to block below the "127.0.0.1 localhost". In this example I use facebook:

127.0.0.1 facebook.com

127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com

Don't forget that websites to blocked must have the url with "www" and with out "www" in the list.
Save the file.

When the user try to access the block websites, the site will not load on the web browser.

You typed the address correctly but your connection suddenly dropped or the server hosting the website is temporarily down.

If you're a Mozilla Firefox user, TryAgain add-ons is gonna keep trying to load a webpage when the server is not found. Currently, TryAgain works with Firefox version 3.0 - 3.5.*

This is very convenient so that you don't have to manually click refresh or click the try again button. You can set the amount of timeout and maximum tries. I personally like this setting :
